Just spoke to several colleagues in here about my appointment this afternoon. Each had several horror stories about said waxer, ranging from ingrown hairs, missing patches and burns & scarring.
It is now too late to cancel or they will take the payment anyway.

Hello - you could call and ask if they'd change your appointment to a facial, massage or manicure instead? Ingrowns aren't so bad - they're a sign that the wax is 'working' and making your hairs grown back finer (therefore they can't poke through the skin). I quite enjoy picking them out with tweezers, but that might be just me. Erm...
If they can't swap your appointment you can at least be grateful you didn't book a Brazilian!
